Pin Board Shelf
Necessary Materials:
Drill
Drill Bit - 1/8 inch
Level
Stud Finder
TX-20 bit (included)
2 Screws (included)
Wall Bracket (included)
Instructions:
Find the spot where you want to hang your pin board shelf. It should be between 2 wall studs to ensure stability. You may use drywall anchors if there are no such studs but they are not recommended or included.
Mark both sides of the studs with a pencil using your stud finder.
Place the bracket up against the wall and position the slots so that they are between your marks. Then mark a point on the wall through the left slot.
Drill a hole on your mark using a 1/8 inch drill bit. Ensure that it hits the stud by visually checking for saw dust. The dust should be beige with some small wood shavings on the drill bit.
Place the bracket back on the wall and screw it in on the left slot. Drive the screw in enough to hold it against the wall but loose enough to adjust it.
Place you level on top of the bracket and adjust until it is level.
Once level, use your drill and drill out another pilot hole in the right slot.
Screw in the second screw into the slot making sure that the bracket maintains level.
Fully secure both screws to the wall, the bracket should not move once installed.
Place the pin board onto the wall by lowering the board onto the bracket. It should be in between the top and bottom shelf of the pin board.
Verify that the board is seated on the bracket by pushing down on the pin board.
The pin board can slide to either side by about 1 inch for adjustment.
